The hotel had a big ground floor room in the modern extension, which was lovely and functional. It was annexed to the Inn, making it easy to access the outside from our room without going through the Inn. The service was busy but extremely attentive, with friendly staff; however, there was an unfriendly encounter when requesting a late check-out due to illness. The location was known and lovely, with views over the river and Tarr Steps. The dining experience was mixed, with some dishes needing improvement. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor issues.
